Biography
Matthew Elliott is a litigator with experience defending clients in insurance-related disputes, as well as construction litigation, product liability, governmental liability, and corporate and commercial transportation.
Matthew works with both insurance adjusters and policyholders to determine case goals and resolve matters through settlement, mediation or trial. He is skilled at taking and defending depositions, preparing and filing a variety of motions, preparing discovery and resolving discovery-related disputes. In addition, he leverages his background in industrial engineering technology to assist clients in construction and business technology matters.
Background
Prior to joining Armstrong Teasdale, Matthew served as a civil litigation associate at another Kansas City law firm. During law school, he served as a judicial extern in the 16th Circuit Court of Missouri, under the Hon. Judge Sarah Castle. He also previously served as a law clerk.
