Biography
Denise DeNicola is a senior associate in the firm’s Financial and Real Estate Services practice group. With past experience as in-house counsel and asset manager for one of the largest family-owned realty firms in New York, Denise’s knowledge of the industry is extensive.
Denise focuses her practice on cooperative and condominium law and other real estate related matters, including residential and commercial real estate transactions and the preparation and negotiation of loan documents for commercial lenders, commercial leases and construction contracts.

Background
Prior to joining the firm, Denise was an associate at a mid-Atlantic law firm. Prior to that, she held positions in the real estate departments of various law firms in New York. In those roles, she counseled cooperative and condominium boards, drafted and negotiated sales and purchase agreements and commercial and residential leases, represented commercial lenders, and drafted offering plans for new housing developments.
Earlier in her career, Denise served as in-house counsel and asset manager with one of the largest family-owned realty firms in New York. While there, she managed and disposed of multimillion-dollar portfolios of bank owned properties, as well as performing and non-performing residential loans. She reviewed contracts of sale, mortgage documents and title reports, negotiated loan workouts and instituted foreclosure proceedings against non-paying borrowers.
